Zaragoza Logistics Center (ZLC) currently provides a number of scholarships each year for students of the MIT-Zaragoza Master of Engineering in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (ZLOG) program.
In today´s business environment companies must produce innovative products at a low cost and effectively deliver them to customers around the world. Globalization has driven supply chain management and logistics to the forefront of business strategy and created the need for a new kind of business leader. In recognition of this development, ZLC has partnered with leading business schools to offer dual degree programs combining a Master of Engineering in Logistics & Supply Chain Management with an International MBA. These dual degree Master´s programs are intended to prepare high-profile candidates to undertake managerial positions that combine general management capabilities with specialized logistics and supply chain management skills. The need for this new kind of professionals with a sophisticated understanding of complex management issues and the ability to design and operate global networks is patent.
The MIT-Zaragoza Master of Engineering in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (ZLOG) Program offers the unique combination of a world-class supply chain degree taught in a truly global setting. The ZLOG program is built on the top-ranked curriculum at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Nine months of challenging coursework, cutting edge research, and industry interaction provide ZLOG graduates with the problem solving and leadership skills that companies seek in an increasingly complex and dynamic marketplace.
Características
ZLC will award scholarships consisting of reductions in tuition for the MIT-Zaragoza Master of Engineering in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (ZLOG) program, which currently amounts to €21,500. The reductions will depend on the applicants´ academic achievements and distinctive personal accomplishment in addition to an interest in pursing a career in Logistics/Supply Chain Management.
The reductions available are as followed:
- 25 % (€5,375) – Average evaluation grade of 6 - 7.9 - 50 % (€10,750) – Average evaluation grade of 8 – 8.9 - 100 % (€21,500) – Average evaluation grade of 9 – 10
The scholarships will not include all other costs like administrative fees, books, health insurance and living or travel expenses to Zaragoza or Boston for the international exchange.
Requisitos
Scholarships are awarded only to students who have been admitted to the MIT-Zaragoza Master of Engineering in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (ZLOG) program through the Foundation´s regular admissions procedure.
Candidates will be expected to show extraordinary potential for leadership and professional success, bringing new vision and commitment to the area of Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
Furthermore, to be eligible you must comply with the following criteria:
Granted admission to the MIT-Zaragoza Master of Engineering in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (ZLOG) program and student of a ZLOG Dual Degree Master´s Program.F1F
- Fluency in English (competitive TOEFL score - exceptions may be granted to individuals who have demonstrated evidence of advanced verbal and written proficiency in the English language).
- Competitive GMAT score. Exceptions may be granted to individuals who have demonstrated strong academic achievement in completing a college degree - including some quantitative training - and evidence of advanced verbal and written proficiency in the English language.
- Professional excellence in Logistics/Supply Chain Management or exceptional academic achievement.

Solicitudes: Candidates must fulfil all of the above-mentioned requirements and submit one original copy of the following documents to the ZLC Financial Aid Office:
1. Application form
Each scholarship applicant will fill out the scholarship application form, Iincluding the following: an essay stating their interests, qualifications, and related experience; a statement describing their economical situation and explaining their reasons for applying for the scholarship.
2. Income Statement
Copy of employment contact, last pay slip or other official document that can account for the last salary received. (Not applicable for applicants who are currently full-time students).
3. Copy of Passport
4. Admissions Letter
Copy of the admissions letter to the MIT-Zaragoza Master of Engineering in Logistics & Supply Chain Management (ZLOG) program.
